Healing Harmonies: A Medicine Wheel-Inspired Movement Experience with Hän Language
Join us for a healing movement experience led by Denise Bell, Hän Language Keeper and citizen of the Tr'ondëk Hwëchin First Nation. This session weaves together ancient wisdom of the Medicine Wheel with the healing power of movement and sound. Through gentle poses, breathwork, and mindfulness, participants will explore the interconnectedness of body, mind, spirit, and community.
Incorporating Hän Language, a sleeping Indigenous language of the Tr'ondëk Hwëchin, this experience celebrates language revitalization and cultural connection. Denise braids Hän language throughout with care, with hopes that you will leave having learned at least one Hän word. Each session begins and ends with an Earth blessing, fostering respect, reflection, and cultural pride.
All levels are welcome in this space dedicated to healing, balance, and cultural resurgence. Come to connect, breathe, and honor the sacred teachings of the Medicine Wheel.

For women over 45 living in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, who are in peri or post menopause, incorporating plyometrics into your routine offers numerous benefits.
These movements, such as jumping, can enhance bone density, boost muscle power, increase speed and agility, and improve metabolic control. Plyometrics can also promote overall physical health and help counteract some of the unwanted changes in body composition associated with menopause.
Engaging in plyometrics places stress on your bones, encouraging bone remodeling and increasing bone mineral density. This is crucial for offsetting the bone loss that often occurs during menopause.
